Better living through partying

Text Box: 2009 FAIRMOUNT PROGRESSIVE DINNER!

The economy is tanking and it’s the middle of winter. Sounds like we need a party! Fortunately, it’s time for the 2009 rendition of the FAIRMOUNT AVENUE PROGRESSIVE DINNER! Your planning committee has been hard at work and asks that you reserve

SATURDAY EVENING, MARCH 7

As last year, we plan appetizers and drinks at 5 PM, entre at 6:30 and dessert at 7:30. For each course, we need a host house plus multiple helpers to prepare food and help with clean up. Will you volunteer for one of these duties? We invite special Finn folk and Fairmount alumni, as well. See photos from last year here.

To ensure that the overhead is fairly shared, please participate in the refunding of our currently tapped out Fairmount Fund. Those of us investing in food and beverage for the progressive dinner will be offered compensation. The amount is entirely up to you but, if you would like a guideline, the planning committee suggests $5/person up to a maximum of $20 per family. Please place your contribution in Treasurer Katherine Werner’s mail box well before the dinner. The Fund will also be used for this summer’s block party.
